Nova Shelter Initiative (NSI) is the humanitarian division of Nicholas Company LLC.
We operate emergency, temporary, and permanent housing programs designed to bring stability, dignity, and opportunity to sober homeless individuals, families, and recovering addicts.

OUR 3-TIER HOUSING MODEL

Emergency Housing (0–90 Days)

Rapid placement for individuals and families needing immediate shelter.

Services include:

Hotel & motel accommodation
Intake screening
Case management
Transportation support
Daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Hygiene supplies
Basic medical referrals

NSI maintains short and long-term contracts with hotels, motels, and private housing providers across multiple states to ensure availability during surges.

Transitional Housing (90–365 Days)

A bridge between crisis and independence.

Services include:

Tiny home community placement
Shared housing programs
Employment readiness support
Substance recovery pathways
Mental health referrals
Transportation to medical, court, or job appointments

Permanent Housing (1–5 Years)

Long-term placement into stable housing units.

Programs:

Tiny home villages (16x16x12 ft–family-ready)
Apartment units built by Nicholas Company
Rent-to-stay partnerships
Community integration
Family reunification support

The goal is stability, dignity, and long-term independence.

HARMONY REENTRY CENTER (HRC)

A Rehabilitation & Transitional Program for Nonviolent Offenders

The HRC Harmony Reentry Center is NSI’s dedicated rehabilitation facility designed for:

Nonviolent offenders
Recovering addicts
Individuals transitioning from incarceration
Court-ordered reentry programs

HRC Provides:

Clinical rehabilitation
Substance recovery support
Workforce training
Vocational skill-building
Wellness & mental health programs
Housing placement after graduation

HRC works directly with:

Local courts
Probation departments
Mental health partners
Workforce agencies

This is NSI’s flagship program for restorative justice and community reintegration.

Harmony Reetry Center

NSI TINY HOME COMMUNITIES

Each Tiny Home Community includes:

16x16x12 ft units (housing 2–6 people)
Climate control
Restrooms & showers
Shared laundry
Community kitchens
Security
Transportation link
On-site case management

These communities are strategically placed near:

Schools

Bus and rail lines

Each community is a stepping stone toward permanent, independent living.
